Retrograde Intra Renal Surgery, RIRS is a medical treatment done using an endoscope that is passed through the urinary passage and then into the kidney. Basically, the stones that are present in the kidney are broken down into smaller pieces using a laser so that they can be easily removed. There is no requirement for any cuts or openings for this treatment.
